Dr. Andrew Young, Collection Associate

Dr. Andrew Young is the new assistant professor of systemic entomology (as of June 2020) and will be teaching ENVS*3090 starting in the W21 semester. He completed his undergraduate and Masters degrees at the University of Guelph, before moving to Ottawa and completing his PhD in association with Carleton University and the Canadian National Collection of Insects, Arachnids, and Nematodes. 
Andrew’s main research interests include systematics of Syrphidae (flower flies), as well as phylogenetics relationships of related Diptera.
